Girl injured in landmine blast

Srinagar, July 27: A girl was injured in landmine blast near Line of Control (LoC) at Guruti in Mendhar.  Officials said that Zahida Kosar, 18, daughter of Rehmat-ul-Khan resident of Guruti, Mendhar sector Balakote was injured when she accidentally put her feet on landmine planted by Indian army near LoC .

Officials said that she alongwith her friend were collecting grass near LoC when her feet accidentally fell on the landmine. They added that girl was injured in the blast and her right ankle was injured in the blast.
