Bazaz condemns transfer of forestland to Hindu board

JAMMU, June 15: In occupied Kashmir, the President of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum, Pandit Bhushan Bazaz has strongly condemned the plan of the puppet administration to transfer 800 canals of forest land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board.

Bhushan Bazaz in a statement in Jammu termed the transfer of the land a conspiracy against Kashmiris aimed at changing the demography of the territory by settling non-Kashmiris there. He urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to resist such moves tooth and nail.

Appreciating the ongoing dialogue process between India and Pakistan, Bhushan Bazaz underlined the need to include Kashmiris’ genuine leadership in the talks to make it a success. He pointed out that peace and security in South Asia could not be ensured without resolving the longstanding Kashmir dispute.
