Eight killed, dozens injured in Yemen mosque shooting

SANAA, May 30: Eight persons were martyred when a gunman opened fire inside a mosque in a village north of the Yemeni capital during Friday prayers.

According to police officials, firing incident took place in Kahal area 40 miles north of capital Sanaa. Police has arrested the gunman. Eight worshippers were martyred and dozens injured in firing.

Earlier, a bomb explosion outside a mosque on May 2 killed 18 Yemenis.
