Hizb-ul-Mujahideen

Hizb-ul-Mujahideen is an indigenous, homegrown organization which came into existence in 1989 as an armed resistance movement to remain at the back of the political movement for the attainment of right of self-determination promised to the people of Jammu and Kashmir by the international community, India and Pakistan in un resolutions. Although Hizb is an organization of freedom fighters yet our primary aim is to create an environment of peace. we sincerely believe that no peace in South Asia is possible without addressing the root cause of tension, i.e. long lingering catastrophic Kashmir imbroglio. Hizb-ul-Mujahideen is the largest of freedom fighters, its universality has even been acknowledged by the Indian authorities. The rest of the world also accepts it as the genuine voice of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Hizb-ul-Mujahideen has reiterated it time and again that Kashmir dispute is neither a border dispute nor a territorial problem.

It concerns the future of 14 million people who are pitted against worst form of Indian State terrorism. Hizb, believes that the Indian leadership should recognize the ground realities accept the internationally recognized Kashmir dispute as the sore of all the troubles and demonstrate political will to address it. Hizb-ul-Mujahideen appeals the major powers of the world and other members of international fraternity to use their good offices to convince India that use of force to curb a genuine movement of self-determination will be a self destructive exercise. in case India sincerely creates congenial conditions and positive environment in the state, Hizb will respond positively. What is needed is that people of Jammu and Kashmir must feel that India is serious to resolve the dispute according to their wishes and aspirations.
