Intermittent rains lash valley

Srinagar, Apr 28: Intermittent rains lashed wide parts of the Kashmir valley for the second day, today, as a labourer working with the Border Roads Organisation was killed in a rockfall along the Srinagar-Leh highway triggered by the showers. Gulzar Ahmad Chowhan was critically injured in a rockfall from a mountain top at the 11,578 feet high Zojila pass on the highway, according to the police.

Ready for dialogue for resolution of Kashmir dispute : Salahuddin

Srinagar, April 21: The Chairman of United Jehad Council (UJC), Syed Salahuddin has said that they were ready for entering into a dialogue process for resolution of Kashmir dispute if India gives up its rigidity in attitude and accepts the disputed nature of Jammu and Kashmir.
